Why we require an upfront cost →Emergency response
If your network is down and business is impacted, we can prioritize an emergency call when scheduling allows.
- Emergency dispatch fee: $150–$300
- Emergency hourly rate: $175/hr
- Best effort response: same day / next day depending on active jobs
If it’s not urgent, we’ll schedule normal priority to save you money.
Why Emergency response cost more →How quotes work
We start by understanding your issue. Sometimes we can quote quickly from photos and details. Other times we recommend an on-site assessment to avoid surprises.
Option A — Quote without an on-site visit
- You send details: what’s happening, what you need, and photos if helpful (cable management, terminations, closet, gear).
- We review it: if it’s clear, we’ll build a straightforward quote. If it’s not clear, we’ll recommend an on-site assessment.
- We call to explain: we walk through the quote and answer questions.
- Schedule or adjust: we set an appointment, or we revise the plan if you want different options.
- We fix it: our team shows up, solves the problem, tests everything, and makes sure it’s stable.
Option B — On-site assessment first
- On-site visit: we come out, inspect the situation, and identify the cleanest path forward.
- Assessment cost: includes drive time + professional evaluation (credited toward larger projects when applicable).
- Game plan + action steps: you get a clear plan of what we’ll do and why.
- Equipment clarity: if the project requires major gear (example: a $5k server), we’ll call it out upfront before work starts.
- Implement efficiently: once approved, we execute the plan, test it, label it, and document it.
Why costs can vary
- Distance + difficulty (walls, ceilings, conduit, mounting locations)
- Existing wiring condition (reusable vs needs repair)
- Number of drops, cameras, access points, and devices
- Closet condition (simple cleanup vs full rebuild)
- Scheduling needs (after-hours / tight timelines)
We’re a small local business — larger projects may need planning time so we can do it right the first time.
What you’ll get from us
- Clear options (simple fix vs long-term solution)
- Neat work: labeling, testing, and clean installs
- Plain-English explanations
- Documentation you can actually use
Want a quick quote?
Send a short description and a couple photos. We’ll tell you if it’s quotable remotely or if an on-site assessment makes more sense.
